KSA Awards Night 2021 – Nominees Announced

It’s that time of year again, as we rapidly close in on the 2021 KSA Awards Night!

This year the Awards Night will be held on Saturday, September 18th, at the Marion Hotel. Entry is free, with dinner and drinks available from the bar. As we countdown to our big Korfball finale weekend (Grand Finals to follow on the 19th), it’s time to reveal the short-lists of the top vote getters in each of our award categories. All nominees are listed alphabetically by first name. Shortlists include the top five vote-getters, incorporating ties.

This year we have returned to our referee based MVP female and male awards. In addition we have retained the Best Attacker and Best Defender awards, presented in each grade, with one award per grade, regardless of gender. These awards were voted on by the opposition coaches after each match. Finally, with the introduction of the “you earned it you take it” penalty rule we have re-introduced the goal scorers awards for each gender in each grade.
