The moment you have been waiting for is finally here! That’s right our biggest event for the year will be starting soon!

The 2019 State League season will commence on Sunday the 28th of April! The KSA committee have decided to have a few weeks where matches will not be scheduled-this includes important family days such as Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. As you may also be aware, the National Team is away in August for the 2019 World Championships, and there will be at least a one week break while the team is away. More details on this will be released in due course, and is dependant on team numbers.

This year the majority of our season will be played at Titanium Arena. Due to the venue being unavailable for three or so weeks we will be playing at Heathfield during the season. Finals this year will be held at St Clair YMCA. Whilst we understand this won’t suit everyone we have had no options but to look elsewhere for venues as Titanium is unavailable at different stages throughout our season.

In 2019, we are looking to reintroduce Kids Korf. If you have children that are wanting to have some fun at Korfball or participate in some more formal activities and games please let us know the ages of your children as we are very keen to provide opportunities to engage our next generation of korfballers in the game we love! We are looking at running multiple programs to best suit the different age levels, so make sure to let us know of any juniors keen to be involved, and we’ll work to make sure there is a program to suit. If you have parents or club members who are willing to help out that would be a fabulous way to help this initiative grow. You can email to register your interest.

Clubs have been emailed this information, as well as nomination details. Team nominations (emailed to are due no later than the 12th of April.

Please state number of teams you are entering into A, B and C grade. Please advise us if you have juniors keen to play and their ages so we can provide opportunities for them. We will be doing our best to provide opportunities for them to get involved and play some Korfball.

As part of the new Korfball Australia requirements, all players must register on the Korfball South Australia website prior to taking part in any KSA organised competition. This $10 registration fee covers players for all KSA or KA sanctioned events for 12 months, and as such, anyone who has registered for Beach Korf or Summer Classic is already covered. Please disregard any emails from TidyHQ asking for re-registration, as we’ve moved away from that platform.

Season start date: 28th of April
Last round: 8th of September
Finals: 15th and 22nd of September

More information will be announced closer to the start of the season!

We look forward to seeing you all out at Korfball this year!
