With an unusually high number of development activities coming up soon, we must again put the request out for volunteers to help with these clinics. These clinics do sometimes have a small recruitment purpose, but more importantly, they are vital for gaining exposure for Korfball in the wider community. Volunteers do not need to have any experience as Korfball coaches, although a basic understanding of the sport is advantageous. All facilitators must have a Police Clearance, however, one can be organised for you at no cost if required. Volunteers will also receive a small reimbursement of costs. A full list of upcoming clinics and other development activities can always be found on the Education page. All activites are always looking for more volunteers.
The upcoming clinics requiring volunteers are:
- Ridgehaven Primary School Clinic, Monday 14th November, 9am to 1pm at Ridgehaven Primary School.
- Catholic Schools Come ‘n’ Try, Wednesday 16th November, 10am to 2pm at Park 25.
- Craigburn Primary School Clinic, Friday 18th November, 9am to 2:35pm at Craigburn Primary School.
More information, including a map of the venue location, is available on the event pages linked above.
If you are able to assist with these, or any future clinics, please contact the Development Officer at development@sa.korfball.org.au.
