Social K4

Social K4 is run as a social competition at various times throughout the year. Using modified IKF K4 rules, this competition provides a change from the standard two-zone indoor korfball available at State League.

This is a fast and simplified version of the sport, perfect both for new, inexperienced players looking for an entry to the sport, as well as more experienced players looking to keep fit and work on skills.

If you are interested in being involved, please contact us, and we will get in touch.

Beach Korfball

Beach Korfball is run as a social competition over January and February each year. Using the official IKF Beach Korfball rules, this competition provides a change from the standard two-zone indoor korfball available through the rest of the year.

Taking advantage of the great weather, and well-lit evenings, playing beach korfball on public beaches allows for the public to gain exposure to korfball, opportunities for which are few and far between.

Currently played on the Glenelg foreshore on Friday nights, this is a great opportunity to get involved in a quick, fun, grass-roots version of Korfball. If you are interested in being involved, please contact us, and we will get in touch.

Summer Classic

The Summer Classic is a one-day outdoor lightning tournament played towards the end of the Summer season each year. This is traditionally used by the State League clubs as part of pre-season, however is open to non-club based teams, and corporate teams have played in the past.

Played on grass, with several shortened matches in a single day, the event has more of a carnival atmosphere than one of serious competition. Games are played with traditional two-division korfball rules.

If you are interested in being involved, please contact us, and we will get in touch.
