Korfball SA provides a support network for players and clubs in South Australia, and provides services in junior development, coach and referee training and development, tournament and competition organisation.

Junior Development

Korfball SA offers coaching services and can supply Korfball equipment for loan or purchase for schools in metropolitan Adelaide and rural areas. All Korfball SA coaches are past or current players and all have Australian Coaching Council Qualifications specific for Korfball coaching.

Korfball SA co-ordinates Korfball tournaments for Junior/School aged competitors through it’s club development and korfball development programs. Competition is organised through SAPSASA North, South and West (Primary School) and SASSSA (High School). Regular Primary School Tournaments are organised with the assistance of SAPSASA and ACHPER and High School Junior development tournaments through SASSSA.

Coach & Referee Training

Throughout the year, Korfball SA offer Refereeing and Coaching courses which are run in conjunction with the Australian Coaching Council and Korfball Australia. Courses include basic ‘Level 0′ referee and Korfball coaching courses. The timing of these courses is dependent on demand.
